This 1 1-2" teddy bear brooch looks like an adorable toy, with studded & textured goldtone body, shiny goldtone ear tips, paws & feet, and black button nose & eyes, from Marcel Boucher. The 3 1-2"H sculpted amber glass teddy bear paperweight rests on a platform, limited edition from Viking Glass. Laura my new CW friend, I hope you will like my little teddy display

I found a blue bear like this and have been unable to identify it. I saw your post here and was wondering how you found out it was Viking. My Viking experts don't seem to know anything about it.
Hi Barbinska & thanks for your great question. Viking made many animal designs as small paperweights with platform base, I have two others of a frog and hound dog, and another CW poster has the cat - put Viking Glass cat in the CW search box and look for a dark pink one by mikelv85, in his post he has a book page showing many of these. The teddy bear was also made in larger size without a platform, look thru google images & you will find some with the Viking label to confirm. I believe ebay still sells a CD-ROM disc with color copies of Viking Glass catalogs dating from the 60s-90s, you may see the your teddy there, it's definitely by Viking as it occasionally pops up online with label
