I must also add that this sign came out of an old general store/hardware store in southern Virginia. From what I was told the store had closed back in the 40's-50's...this display sign is in excellent condition with bright color & graphics. I found out through some research that WINSTON first introduced filtered cigarettes in 1954, although filtered cigarettes became very common in the 60's. I'd like to know when R.J. Reynolds (WINSTON) used this sort of display sign and is this sign considered rare?

I still have not found any more about this sign/dislay tin since my original post. I'm still looking for an exact date for this piece...any one who can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
