I take these baskets to be Kralik due to the likeness they bear to the vase in image four......ribbed glass, a snapped off pontil and applied cobalt leaves. A more experienced friend agrees. Thank you :)
The true colour is the vivid orange.
Height 15 cm./6 inches
Gorgeous colours, beautiful !~
Love this colour combo..:-)
Such bold & beautiful baskets!
I'm happy to agree with you too Peggy, very unusual.
Colour - love it. Those Czechs weren't shy....
Thank you, PhilDMorris, your comments are always a delight.
Me too, inky, hot and cold in one frivolous basket :)
Thanks, IronLace, I'm thinking perhaps early Art Deco in view of the leaves......
Hi, Philmac, glad it gets your vote too!
Indeed, Karen, and some times they were downright outrageous!
Lately somebody has asked me about an id of ribbed and iridised glass basket and I also has pointed Kralik because of the ribbed surface.
And of course, Ivonne, this basket was easier due to the leaves applied to the rim......something Kralik did much earlier.
