This table belonged to my grandparents from Magnolia, Texas. I don't know when or where it was purchased. I think the wood may be walnut but I'm not sure. Side carvings resemble a shell. Heavy, thick turned legs. Interested in knowing if I have something special or just an old wood table :-)

I see "furn company" as part of letters, can you read any others ?? Also what part of the country your mother was in when she had this furniture ?? That would be your only ticket to finding out more. A lot of people have nothing to go on and with thousands of furniture comanies who left no information when they closed it would be extremely difficult to identify ...

A photo of the entire table would be helpful. Based on what I see (underside construction/ stencil), I'd think you have something from the 2nd quarter 20th century at the earliest.
