This simple, elegant Victorian glass vase is made from two thin layers with a satin finish. The vase measures 22.8 cm tall, 5 cm across the cut, crenelated top rim, & 7.6 cm across the base. There are subtle gilded accents on the rim, knopped stem, & circular, footed base.
By the style, I think this is quite early - perhaps 1850s - 1860s.
I am divided in my opinion as to the place of origin - either French or Bohemian. It has qualities of both. Any thoughts welcome!
