This is a signed B.I Bernard Instone ring, which is brilliant . The stones are Citrine which was a very popular stone he used, also 6 small pearls. The ring as gold rosette flowers and gold leaves on the side the rest of the ring is silver. I think it’s an early Instone ring probably made in the 1920s. The ring weighs approx 9.5 grams and measures 2.5cm long and approx 16 mm across.
Many thanks for looking
A brilliant beauty indeed!!
Thank you Scott, it’s not very often I have an opportunity to come across one of these rings so I’m pleased to be adding it to my Instone collection.
Just when you think, there can't be another as gorgeous as this, you find out there is!
Someone will have to come up with a new adjective.
Hi Gillian, thanks for your comment it’s much appreciated. Over the last few months I’ve acquired quite a few different types of Bernard Instone rings, I’ll be posting soon I hope you like them.
Absolutely concur with all superlative adjectives!
A chunky though delicate magnificent ring, Jean!!!
Love everything about this ring Jean, just beautiful! Well done:-)
Thank you Jewels1900, kyra and Judy it is a great ring I do have a similar Amethyst ring here on CW. I’m glad also you think it’s one of Instone’s earlier rings
Jewels1900. Thank you for your comments.
Great Instone ring Jean. I love the citrines, and the balance of stones is perfect.
Hi Karen, thanks for your lovely comment and I agree the stones are in prefect balance. I shall be posting more Instone rings as I haven’t been posting much recently because I’m still in the UK and most of my pieces are in Spain. I hope you are well and enjoying life in Oz.
Many thanks
