Picked up this Coca Cola palm push. My first piece of porcelain. Would appreciate input on age of item and why some have "trade mark reg" under the Coca Cola and others do not.
Thanks as usual for all input! I love the site
International signs can be a challenge, as they are less documented than domestic versions. I love these Canadian push plates. I believe there are many fakes and restored pieces out there. The Coca-Cola logo and trademark standards have always been important to the company. A good general rule is to steer clear of signs without trademark detail. There are always exceptions, of course, but they are few and far between.
Thanks Daddy Nobucks. Any thoughts on age? Some Canadian comments on a Facebook site state original with suggested age of 1939-1940
This one is listed 1947-1952 in Petretti's 12th Edition.
