Can you tell me what this is? I have a pair. The marking is Italy 2570 (or 02570) 60 PV. I have figured out that the PV stands for Peasant Valley and is Italian. But I cannot guess what they are and how to use them. They were found on my mother-in-law’s home. She is 99 but can’t tell me anything about them. Thanks!

      I think they're a pair of vases.

They could be candlesticks as well. Your pics didn’t include what the opening looks like inside. Does the hole look like it could hold a taper candle?

Candlesticks typically come in pairs when they are used for displaying taper candles.

The opening at the top is very narrow and smooth so I don’t think it’s a candle holder or vase. It could just be strictly decorative I suppose. Glad you all like them but I remain puzzled by them.
