February is officially gone now, so this is right abouts 'on schedule' I suppose...?

It never fails to bring a smile when I spot the first bright yellow daffodil bravely popping open in the backyard -- in a few more days there will no doubt be a bunch more cheerful blossoms to accompany it, as the dreary brown winter begins to fade into fresh colorful springtime. BRING IT ON!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Maybe sharing this post will bring y'all a smile too...??

[hmmm...no category for "flowers", so I guess I'll have to use "photographs"...?]

Nice!! I love seeing the daffodils in bloom. It's always the first sign of spring. We have lots of them in bloom here in central Kentucky right now.

I only have one little 'patch' of 'em in my backyard, other places in AR have a few more... ;-) :-)

Thanks for the comment jscott -- I have no doubt that "bourbon country" KY is likewise exceptionally beautiful as springtime 'comes to life'!!

Yes they are a welcome sight. Our snow season hit late this year so mine are just coming up.

They're my favourite flower, though the whole of them is toxic-- just like its name-sake: Narcissus, as that personality is also toxic. But, for some reason, I'm always drawn to the flower. Oh well. Hah hah.
As for us, nothing is in bloom yet-- only the earliest of plants have popped up.

WOW -- what a wonderful response!! My most gracious THANKS also to nutsabotas6, TassieDevil, valentino97, AnnaB, fortapache, melaniej, EJW-54, Caperkid, Brunswick, officialfuel, and SpiritBear for your kind comments and <love-its> -- I sincerely hope each and every one of y'all might have experienced an unexpected "smile", too! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Lovely! It brought a smile to my face, thank-you for sharing!
Some of mine are up, probably another 2 weeks until I see a bloom.
