      Thanks a bunch, I had never noticed the thumb screw or the battery holder before. Looks like she started life a gold color. Top half of the light and horn are missing but both kick-stands are there.

      Here's a link to a Colson Commander. Your "Roadking" was made by Colson but sold through either a hardware store or dept. store and badged as their product. I have a Colson made "Goodyear" bicycle posted here if you'd like to look at it....       Thanks. These things are pretty tough to find info on. I am glad I stumbled on this site with all of you that have seen and or delt with them.

      Good looking bike, the two-tone paint really makes it pop.
