I bought this pair several months ago believing them to be Welz, but having no proof. The outer casing is amber, rarely found except on Welz pieces. However recently I found the vase seen with them in image two. As you can see, in image three, the new vase is in a known Welz shape.
In spite of their appearance there is no yellow layer. The layers are, white, oxblood spatter and an amber outer casing.
Height
I had a little hexagon vase in this decor...sold it though... :-(
Was it 11.5cm./4.5 inches small, by any chance?
Harrach has also been thrown around with this decor..I have a little collection and do love this decor, they look great in a group...:-)
