I found another swung vase! It must be because I didn't pay much attention to this style of glass vases before, but now I come across them rather frequently. The problem I am having is to date and identify them. On a first look, they all look the same to me. After checking them more closely, I can find many differences. It is not just the coulour, the kind of glass, the base, shape, and pattern of the vase, ... there are so many out there! My biggest challenges are to figure out the maker, and the age, or if the vases are new reproductions or recent imports.
Based on some Internet research I believe that this vase is by the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio. I am not too sure about the age.
Thanks for looking:)
Did you find a makers mark on the bottom?
TimeTraveller, I didn't find a mark. I found several vases just like this one but in marigold carnival glass and only one like mine in a clear glass. But it is so confusing for me to identify this kind of vases. I wouldn't be surprised if I am wrong.
Many thanks, jscott0363:)
does look to be Imperial's Ripple pattern which was introduced c1912. Imperial Glass didn't start using makers mark until many years later.
Many thanks for your comment, TallCakes! I knew I could count on your input:)
