Getting back to the Old Colony Depression glass series. I had forgotten about these two pieces. This is the cream and sugar set. The pattern being Old Colony with the nickname of Open Lace. It was made by Hocking Glass from 1935-1938.
The sugar and creamer are simple and elegant while most of the other pieces in this pattern are a bit grandiose. In the last photo some of the other pieces can be seen. They are the ones with the looped edges. It is perhaps the most over the top of the depression glass patterns which is why I like it.
The sugar and creamer are a great addition to your fabulous Hocking set fort, love the rose pink color, & amazing condition for age
Thank you very much Newfld. As soon as I get a tablecloth that fits my table I will set it upp up for a photo shoot.
Thank you
