Still a mystery. This lamp is just over 13 inches tall and once had a glass shade. Has the standard size socket. I have no idea how old or what style this lamp is, but prior to 1950 is my educated guess in terms of age. The plug is old and it appears to be a replacement. There is an "L" on the switch and I assume it is for Leviton. This seems to be good quality and I’d like to find the appropriate shade for it. I tested the base and it is not magnetic. On the underside of the base is printed "S 833". Any ideas? I am thoroughly stumped! I have been searching for the image with absolutely no luck. I welcome all feedback. HELP! Thank you!
