I found this little treasure at an estate sale for very little when the seller couldn’t get it to tick, although she swore it worked! I bought it anyway. Clock is set in bronze metal I believe and stone pillars. I love it but have no idea of the age or maker, so any initial information would be helpful.

It is hard to see if bronze or spelter. Usually for bronze or even spelter they made these with pinpoint decoration, very sharp, very chiseled looking. These pieces are not and look around 1940's. They used a lot of alabaster during that period which is what your stone is.

The crossed arrows would indicate german, a mass produced timepiece by H A C, giving good service and value for money in its day, many still giving a sterling service .
