I bought this beautiful bowl from a friend at the Alameda Flea Mkt today. i spotted it by over 100 ft away and it was calling my name! about 4 times more expensive than i usually pay for things, but i think it's very beautiful. there is a crack in it's side and it looks like someone drilled on each side of the crack - as if to repair it by tying it together, but they appear to have decided not to do that. or maybe it's something totally different? i'm hoping CanyonRd can give me some info. or anyone else? the piece is over 9 inches across and 4 inches tall.

everything i've seen of St John's Anasazi pottery points to this being the real deal and a magnificent piece! St John's pottery is the most sought after of all of the Anasazi pieces.
