This festive FIRE ENGINE RED ceramic ashtray was made by Haeger Pottery, though I don't know forxactly how long ago. Guessing it a child of the 1960's-70's, since I found it in a junk store by the late80's/early 90's. ;-) It has been one of my favorite (of way too many...) ashtrays, remaining 'in service' as a centerpiece/accent on my coffee table (or somewheres nearby) ever since. :-)
It measures a little over 9" at its widest, and features a kinda 'bamboo' design to its outside edges. It does have a few little fleabites from its former owner (AFAIK, I don't believe I've ever added one?) thankfully all but one on its underside. (also thus why I don't hesitate to keep actually *using* the thing, instead of holding it captive to a display shelf...) On its underside it is marked "HAEGER 2099 USA [copyright]".
