    This was inherited. Can someone please give us information? I thought it was my husband's grandfather. BUT this was bought from a flea market. I just googled the name today... same sailor used in other paintings.

      Can't say much about the painting because I can't read the artist's signature or see much detail, but I've seen a lot of similar frames associated with art made in China and shipped to the U.S. Might be an old painting in a new frame, or possibly a new frame and a reproduction of an old painting. Hard to tell with a lot of art.

      David Pelbam. Born in 1932, died in 2004, lived in Rhode Island, only painted between 1965 and 1975
