Irish railway galvanometer.

Seeing Buckethead's blasting galvanometer inspired me to post this item which I think is also a galvanometer although the dial markings are different. The engraved plate shows that it belonged to the signals department of the Great Southern Railway (of Ireland). This dates it to between 1925 and 1945. No makers name.
