Certificates obtained in July 1962 when aged 15 on leaving school education now eligible age to start work. School demolished in the 1990s was built in 1958 when I first started. Located in ward end , Birmingham. About 4 miles from the city centre.
Thanks all it was the 1960s that was the best decade for me. Plenty of jobs , you could leave one job and walk into another like going into a supermarket. I had 4 different jobs in 1966. I got one job in just one day , went for interview and started next day.
