Hello everyone!!
Spring is starting to come alive here in central Kentucky and I thought it to be a good time to photograph some of my outdoor friends. I've posted these at one time or another and felt them worthy of a re-post. Pics #1 and #2 are a few of my hares that live outdoors. I love the stance of these guys and they're my favorite outdoor hares.
Pics #3 and #4 is my bronze English Bulldog "Spike". He is, of course, life size and is aging nicely. The bronze has already started to develop the dark patina that I love so much. Spike watches over all of my outdoor rabbits, hares and dogs:)
Anyhow, thought I'd show these fellows off once again. Many thanks for stopping by!!!!
Scott
Great bunnies, but the bulldog is amazing!
All of your outdoor pets just wonderful Scott, must be a joy to look out your windows - love them!
Thanks Ken!! Yep, we do love Spike as well.
Thank you Anik!! I do appreciate the awesome comment!
Thanks Jenni!! I have quite a few little characters on my patio and in my landscape. But, I'm not sure if there's such a thing as having "too many" to a collector:)
More gold bunnies! I love them. It looks as if they present a formidable front against Spike, who really looks fierce! And I think one of my favorite aspects of these photos, no matter how much I love the bunnies and bulldog, is the GREEN grass!!!
The hares do have a great sense of animation.
Thanks Laura!!! Yep, we have plenty of green grass right now and the metamorphosis has already started to take place. trees are budding out and my Day Lillies are already a few inches tall. In fact, the grass is starting to get deep, so I'll need to mow my lawn for the first time this year on Saturday.
Yep fortapache, they sort of remind me of the rabbits in chapter one of The Wind In The Willows that were trying to charge Mr. Mole six pence for passing thru the so called "Private Road":)
Thank you all for the loves and for stopping by!!
