      Would you please tell me what material this is. Cardboard; ceramic etc. If it's cardboard I would say it's a powder box. However without dimensions it's difficult to tell what it was used for.

      It's a lovely box whatever is put in it! Russian or Czech maybe?

      oh, forgot to add, it's in Russian. Most likely, the tin is from the Soviet era.

      It is tin. About 5 inches high.
