1944 World War II deck room clock 8in dial, time only runs for about 2 weeks, bakelite case with screw down knob to keep out water. Chelsea Clock Co. you can look up the serial number on the dial and find out what ship it came off of. I believe 17 Jewel movement with the platform Escapement runs horizontally like wrist watch. This clock was given to my brother-in-law after 20 years in the Navy retired as a chief petty officer and he wound it too tight and the mainspring came off its knob so the main spring is missing from the picture. I had more pictures to show my brother-in-law the progress but that's the only two that are left.
