I readily admit I don't know anything specific about this. (having only taken pics of it, but *not* yet researched it...)
Given to me by a friend years ago (because he knew I liked old boxes and stuff) it is an obviously old finger-jointed wooden box, bearing the brand marks to show it once held some variety of BAKER'S CHOCOLATE, by WALTER BAKER & Co. Ltd., Dorcester Mass., Est. 1780. I find it highly unlikely it is actually *that* old, though it could potentially date from the late 1800's/early 1900's. It measures roughly 9" x 6" x 5".
I love these old wooden boxes. This one is GREAT!!
