The colours are still in great condition.
Jenni,
This is FANTASTIC!! I love everything about it.
Ooooh! Very beautiful! We have a reptilian theme going here with Mary's alligator head and your lizard. I love the enamel work.
Thank you Phil, Scott & Laura for the super compliments. Laura I am actually not much for reptiles, bugs etc but love the colors & diamond shape head on this brooch, and true to my holiday theme attraction, this is for St Pat who supposedly drove all the serpents out of Ireland
Many thanks 4 your luv & support

Many thanks for the luv Melanie and Judy, much appreciated
That's right! I did not think of St. Patrick driving the serpents out of Ireland! Awesome!
Thank you so much Mani & purvis for the luv
Yep Laura that's the legend, he "drove them all into the sea" because he was fasting & they were bothering him - I doubt this is in the bible but who knows
I love that little lizard! He looks like a salamander which really isn't a lizard, but, an amphibian. Oh, I hope that doesn't sound like I'm correcting you, because I'm not trying to do that. It's just what I see and I love love love salamanders and other amphibians like frogs! He's too cute!
I'm so glad you liked this Mary, he could very well be a salamander, although I've seen it called both lizard & gecko, without the feet I would think he was an arrowhead snake. KJL liked to make serpent jewelry, other people have posted his snake type things on CW (hit KJL in the Search box) P.S. I almost posted a Viking frog instead lol!
Thank you both for the kind luv Mary and Thomas, much appreciated
Oh, post the Viking frog too Jenni! I would love to see it!
He is an unusual shaped lizard, so I'll go gecko with a thin tail. A bit genetically mixed I think, but beauty can usurp genes sometimes. Sure did here!
Mary, I promise to post that frog in future - he is a bullfrog paperweight in dk green glass so he needs a little "help" & I'm getting a nice frog brooch to make him shine
Thanks Karen for the kind words. I truly think he was going to be a snake & KJL added the feet at the last minute, but gecko & lizard were both in the description - maybe I'll change the title
Karen I did change it to lizard/gecko, thank you for noticing!
FortA, so grateful for the kind luv & loyal support
