I just found this precious teapot today while antiquing. He is marked "Germany" and had a tag that said "Erphila," but it is my understanding that all Erphila pieces are marked as such. He looks like other Erphila hare teapots so maybe he is one. Whatever the case may be, I love him very much! ~Laura

He's a real beauty Laura, I love figural teapots and this hare is especially charming & beautifully colored - you know Scott will love him too. You guys put me in a great anticipatory Easter mood!

Not sure I could pour boiling water in this tea pot! I'd like to imagine he's asking for his ticket to the Mad Hatters Tea Party. He will have a special chair next to the March Hare.

I agree, Gillian. I have another much newer figural of a duck, and that is my go-to teapot! I love the idea of him asking for a ticket to the Mad Hatter's tea. I think he'll at least be present at the next teddy bears' tea.
