I am seeking any information on the age and maker of this rocker. It has been passed down through the family and the story goes that it was given to a relative that worked on Teddy Roosevelt's ranch in the late 1800's in South Dakota. Can't find anything close on the internet.

It is done in Eastlake style . It would be impossible to prove the story without documentation , But would be wonderful if true. A beautiful chair that needs a little repair to caning on seat and back .
Perhaps someone else will stop by and offer more help . Welcome to CW
