OK -- if there's three of 'em, I guess I officially have a "collection" of old OSTERIZERS now...? <lol>
This post just to show them all freshly cleaned/polished up and sitting side by side. [because I think they look WAY COOL that way...??] Each one is additionally pictured/described by itself at separate postings here, here, and here:

Also shown in this post is an extra stainless steel 'commercial grade' jar assembly which fits all three machines. Unbranded/unmarked, it was found in a thrift store as "new old stock" with its lid roughly 25yrs ago. Its base/blade assembly did not come with it, having been found separately.

for stopping by and tapping the <love it> button! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Beautiful! How did you find these?
Hi Gnat -- thanks for the <love it> to bring my blenders back up! :-) Their backstories are mostly included with each one's individual posting, I've just been lucky to find 'em over the years. And indeed the crazy things do still have a tendency to "multiply" -- there's now been a 4th that's come along after I showed these 3 together. <groan><lol>

Bringing this up to the top of the list again, simply, because of stuff that doesn't even matter here that leaves me and my own brain feeling like its mostly been inside one of these machines for the last few weeks/months/most of 2020 anyway. Today in particular was a kinda rough day...really rough...but despite it I'm still at least semi aware and (barely) vertical...that ain't gonna last much longer.
THANKS and BLESSINGS to anybody who might happen to read this comment...the support of my CW community friends is an INVALUABLE help to me.
Hello AO, I’m so sorry to know you’re going thru something which sounds like it’s very unpleasant, if not worse....
Please know I’m wishing you the best and hoping this bad time is over soon.
Much love to you,
Patricia
THANK YOU SO MUCH Patricia for taking the moment to respond. It DOES mean SO much to me. "...very unpleasant, if not worse..." is such an apt description even if it truly only scratches the surface...the "worse" part probably the more accurate of your quote there overall. <sigh>
ALL THE BEST to you my 'friend I've never met' and thanks once more --
sending <BIG OLE' (virtual) hugs> back atcha,
Tim
Tim, a big virtual hug back to you....Patricia
Hi, AnythingObscurve. Hope you're still doing okay. I stumbled here because I have an Osterizer 481 and was trying to date it. I haven't had much luck finding any documentation on it at all other than some marketplace listings that claim it to be dated mid 50's/60's. My grandmother had it when I was young and it has followed me through two different homes in my adult life. It's a very interesting looking blender that is still kicking. Works better than some of the newer blenders I've used. I believe mine is all original but am not sure how I could determine that for sure. Anyways, I've read your post on a your collection and thought I'd reach out. Happy collecting.
