I have so far found no history of Yanagawa Glassworks, but looking at this vase I believe it is a pre WW2 production, possibly even before WW1.
Yanagawa is a region in Fukuoka prefecture, but I have found no link to Fukuoka Glass (FTG). FTG was established in Fukuoka City and there may be a crossover, but my FTG history research makes no mention of it.
Looking at the sticker I think that T.Yanagawa is a person's name, and so this could actually have nothing to do with Yanagawa the place.
I need to search Japan's trade mark history for more info.
This is a simple, thin walled vase with small engraved leaves and a golden, metallic coating. The sticker is paper, and I think the company logo is so charming with the dog and it's name tag TY.

Karen,
This is really beautiful!! Awesome design and great color!
Very gorgeous vase, love the shiny golden top against the beautiful orange leaf pattern, & of course cute doggie label
Beautiful gold iridescence Karen. Love the subtle engraving and the label is sure a bonus. :)

plus the lovely copper tones with subtle etching
and fab research karen top ace my friend !!!!!!!!
Your investigation looks sound so far, I hope you find out plenty !
lovely piece of glass : ) tho' form reminds me of a tumble up carafe rather than a vase.
Beautiful! I've learned a lot about Japanese glass from you! When I think of Japanese wares, I mainly think of porcelain. I really had not given a thought to their glasswares. Just lovely! Reminds me of carnival glass, too.
Is there any type of glass the Japanese didn't make? This looks to have an 'iris' finish......
I knew I'd seen that name somewhere - https://www.carnivalglassworldwide.com/carnival-glass-from-china-and-japan.html
Thanks Scott, I appreciate your appreciation!
Jenni the label is very cute, and although a simple piece it's interesting glass. Thanks as usual!
The label was the purpose of the purchase really Mike. Without it, I would not have even looked twice. Thanks mate!
Thanks Malkey, my research is very surface so far, but I keep trying!
Phil, I hope so too, and thanks for the support!
You are correct of course Sir TallCakes, it is more likely a carafe. Artfoot's link shows a glass which looks part of the set. Thanks for the clarification.
Peggy they have done nearly all of it, some as direct copies. Is Iris a finish specific to some country, or like marigold finish? Thanks.
It is very much in the carnival glass realm Laura. Thanks for the love and comment
Harry I actually recall reading that page before but couldn't remember anything about it. Thanks for the link, and for having such a great memory! Awesome.
Hey lovely lady! This vase is just gorgeous, I love the reflectiveness of it and wow, a paper label still in tact? That's really awesome!
beautiful luster glass!!
Thanks Sue and Sean. The label cost me the vase. :))
Today I found 5 short glasses in my great grandfathers cupboard and they look exactly like the vase and one of the glasses has the same sticker
