Something from the long ago. How long ago I am not sure. Based on the happy housewife on the cover I would say later than the 1920s and earlier than the 1960s. I don't like to say a specific year when I don't know as people will quote me on that.
This is a box with a 18" wide roll of cellophane x 40 feet long. The cellophane is no longer usable as attempts to unroll it result in little pieces breaking off. As mentioned earlier it has a happy housewife on the cover with a rather large freezer. Some may feel the housewife brings back the good old days and perhaps the bad old days. I myself am going it is the way it was old days.
I like these old kitchen pieces, I like the color I like the texture. Not many pieces like these are around but those they are still quite affordable.
Very cool, reminds me of those original fifties TV commercials on the old game show channel - this product has stood the test of time though
Ha! I love your musings. It certainly was the "old days" with the housewife all dolled up like she was ready to remove her apron and go dancing!
Thank you very much Newfld. It has.
Thank you very much betweenthelens. I just muse when I don't have that much to say.
She is indeed all ready to go.
Very cool and will fit in well in your house.
I imagine your place to be a step back in time Fort, and would be captivating. Maybe along the lines of this place in The Rocks, Sydney, that I enjoy visiting:
