For at least 10 years I've gazed at my Clarice Cliff pottery only to find they are Moorlan Staffordshire. Shame really. Neil

Very pretty springtime floral design, cheery post
I now think, unless someone tells me different that they are Clarice made by Moorlan in Staffordshire. Thanks Newfld valentino97 and SEAN68 for the loves. Neil
Cheers for the loves aura and vetraio50. Neil

here's one eBay UK guide mentioning Moorland producing china "in the style of Clarice Cliff" as "Modern look-alikes" and "not licensed reproductions"

After reading the link you gave me I am still not sure whether the Moorland pottery is registered as being able to use the Clarice Cliff name. On the Wedgwood repro they clearly indicate this but on the Moorland pottery there is no mention of Clarice Cliff. Help required on this one. Neil
maybe you could contact Moorland from their website. Not being a Clarice Cliff expert I see this Moorland teapot shape as a marriage of the Clarice Cliff 'Bonjour' and 'Stamford' forms. Also looking at the leaf spikes above the flowers; they cross to from a "X" in this Moorland pattern and none of the original Clarice Cliff crocus pieces has crossing leaf spikes.
Will do. Thanks for the advice. Neil
