For years, my family had a chair that was nearly identical to the pink one in the photo above, except for the fact that it was upholstered in the teal green frieze fabric like the swatch beside it. The chair broke beyond repair after I graduated from college and I have mourned it ever since. I had never seen one like it until I stumbled on that photo of its pink twin; alas, the doppleganger had been sold and the seller had no information on its maker or vintage.

Perhaps one of you can help me identify this chair! I've been scouring eBay, local Craigslist pages, and Etsy to no avail. Reddit, too. People seem to recognize it at the very least, but have not been able to provide much detail. Thanks!

MsCrystalShip - that's exactly what happened to my chair! Bottom totally went. Looked like it was horsehair spilling out of it, but I couldn't tell. I maintain that it could have been re-stuffed and fixed, but my parents weren't as convinced. Alas!
