my big ole white ceramic 'centerpiece' ashtray

This is probably the physically biggest (though by no means heaviest) ashtray in my collection (not counting smoking stands) measuring about 12" x 9" x 3-1/2". I honestly don't know what to call its 'style/shape' -- it's just a whole hot mess of curves and swoops with a kinda scales/scallops pattern on its sides along with other assorted decoration around the outer rim. Whatever it is or isn't supposed to 'artistically represent' I don't truly care...nonetheless I instantly fell in love with it when first spotted at the Saver's store (R.I.P.) several years ago. ;-) :-) :-)

It is made of hollow ceramic pottery with an off-white glaze, there are no maker's marks or other ID on it anywhere to be found. I'm guessing that it is mid-century, only because big honkin' ashtrays of all shapes and sizes were so popular as coffee table centerpieces back then, and this one certainly seems like it could have realistically been somebody's one of them. As seen in the last pic, the glaze on the entire piece is rather uniformly 'crazed', which again suggests to me that it could easily be of the 50's - 70's era.
