Love the title... Meteorite or Meteo Wrong... :D
Not a meteorite.....Magnetite.
Magnetite is a rock mineral and one of the main iron ores. With the chemical formula Fe?O?, it is one of the oxides of iron. Magnetite is ferrimagnetic; it is attracted to a magnet and can be magnetized to become a permanent magnet itself.
Thank Anik for your comment
Thank you buckethead for your information but it only Attracts Magnet not any Metal like Nails, Clips, Pins, Coins etc.
Hello kkk, in right side, i don't know it's first or last image of stone with magnet, i can see regmaglypts but not sure.
Thank you merchant for giving Information about Regmaglypts and i Checked it on Internet Search but as you said it's not sure then Question Remains Meteorite ? or Meteo Wrong ??
Then better you try to find an expert near you, because only by seeing images i can't say anything
Thank's merchant for your Information and Advice
Have a great day
Normal magnetite is attracted to a magnet, but some specimens are automagnetized and have the ability to attract small pieces of iron, small pieces of magnetite, and other magnetic objects. This form of magnetite, known as "lodestone," was man's first encounter with the property of magnetism. Yours may be normal magnetite.
Ok buckethead, according you it's normal magnetite and according merchant it's a Meteorite.
Thanks buckethead, for your Information
Have a great day
