This was my big find on my last antiquing outing which yielded no actual antiques but for me this is even better. Unless it is a flintlock rifle or some sort.
Made by 21st Century Toys under the Ultimate Soldier name. These were sold in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They made perhaps more vehicles than Hasbro did for GI Joe and the details on the Ultimate Soldier vehicles tend to be a bit better then those of Hasbro at the same time.
This was a WWII German vehicle used for towing various pieces such as small anti-tank guns across rough or muddy terrain. On a road it could have pulled something as large as an 8/8mm gun.
One may note this is a bit of a cross between a motorcycle and a half track. The Germans did seem to like rather bizarre vehicles and this would be one. It was originally made for airborne troops.
The photos here show the vehicle and some of the details including the simulated 4 cylinder motor.
    Next the vehicle with Soldiers.

I saw a video of one of these, and strange as they seem it seemed to be a good tool. Odd, like a mechanic's mash-up!
Does this say what powered them? NSU?

I gave up riding my Harley on the highway a couple of years ago because of all the crazy drivers....I may startup again if I can find one of these in my size...it looks like it could take a few hits :)

Thank you very much racer4four. They had a small inline 4 cylinder engine made by Opel.
