I want to bring fourth a theory: Not all the arched marks by Kralik were produced by Kralik. I am examining shapes, decors and production methods and will try to show some inconsistencies. I will try to show this in a few posts marked Kralik...a strange connection.
A method I use is to link a manufacturer to a new decor is called "Decor shift" (this was pioneered by my friend Craig Orkney). My version of this method is to take a distinctive shape or decor and link it to an unknown maker by shape decor and technique. In this example you have a Distinct shape (1) to distinct decor and shape (2-3) then to a distinct decor and signature (4).

1 - Single lobed trumpet vase with a pull-up adventurine decor
2 - The same distinctive shape in an uncased confetti decor (most likely Ruckl)
3 - The same decor in a known Ruckle shape
4 - A match decor to a pair of vases with the arched signature

As someone who puts a lot of stock in the value of the marks, I respectfully hope you are wrong on this one. :+)

A few thoughts and observations on the vases presented.

I wouldn't call shape 1 and shape 2 the same-- I would call them SIMILAR. Maybe it is the angle of the photos, but it looks like shape 2 is more "squatty". The top "cup" on #2 looks to be cut further inward at the bottom. The center piece of the shape also seems more rounded on #2 and finally the base itself looks shorter on #2. To me the differences look more substantial than old vs. new mold. Again maybe the angle is the problem?

I am not familiar with the documentation/ links to ruckl with the decor in #2/ #3-- do you have a posting with that information?

Finally, I don't see a matching decor in image #4.

I am writing with the same nervousness about identity artfoot, I have a lot of stock in the glass too. All I can say is some pieces are "odd ducks" that don't have much in common with other Kralik production.

Hi Scottvez, I will try to do a shape comparisons on 2 and three... this series of glass is clear core glass with a solid covering of confetti with pelleton... predominately one color and the grinding is rough.
