Hello everyone.
This really is a monster of a ring! Bought in 2014 and of course I did not check the measurements so was expecting a somewhat smaller dainty ring!
I still love it for the inscription though and can wear it on the middle finger even though it is slightly still a bit big on it.
This isn't vintage either. It is hallmarked for sterling with the lion, leopards head for London assay office, with the date letter "u" for 1994.
The maker's mark inside the ring......W*T .....was a bit of a challenge to find, but I did track it down to WRIGHT & TEAGUE Jewellers in London, who described their inscription on this ring as "A tender thought deeply inscribed in the boldest Roman Text". I think this is pretty nice.......my son might end up with this one day :-)

Yes, it really is a heavy thick ring weighing in at 16.5 grams.
