We're told by an elderly relative that this old lamp/ashtray came from the old "Second Hotel" that once stood on Georgia street in Vancouver BC Canada. The hotel was built by the Canadian Pacific railway in 1916 and torn down in 1949. The lot remained empty until 1974 when Sears was built there. She said the ashtray was brought in from Europe. The base of the ashtray lights up and the slag glass is a nice pink color and she's pretty sure the ashtray on top is original. I'm not sure if she's accurate on where it originated from but it's a pretty cool ashtray in amazing condition. It says on the handle "Thau's Lamp MF. CO LTD". Anyone have an idea on what it's value would be or other information you might have? Not for sale.
