    ~ Hi CW GANG ~

I bought this years ago at a Garage Sale and stuck it away. I forgot about it till I was going through a box here. Not I have checked around for a label and can't find one, nor does it have the point marks on it. But I have seen some others advertising as hudson Bay Blankets with no point marks, but with a label. So I am not sure about it. Seems to be really well made, and I myself have probably had it for almost 20 years ( +/- ). I bought it on a whim, and packed it away in one of my closets. Still going through stuff here after I moved 4 years ago. Not every day, but every now and then I grab a tote bin and see what is in it. I still have about 20 tote bins, an old wood pump organ, school stuff and just things over at my BF place in their basement. LOL. So can any one tell me if it is one?

Thanks for LOOKING / LOVING !!

    ~ Rose ~

It lacks the black or indigo stripe found on authentic Hudson Bay blankets, and the black points. Plus Hudson Bay blankets didn't come with a satin binding like this. So I'd say no, just a well-made knock-off.

Thanks CanyonRoad. Yeah saw no black, and do they always have the points marking on them? Or is that just the older ones ??

Thanks you comments, and Glad to know -- but I think it would keep you really WARM still !! LOL

I would think it was a HBB also.

It might be a St. Mary's. I have a couple of Hudson Bay blankets as well as a St. Mary's wool blanket in shades of green with a satin border, but I believe they also made stripes as well as other colors, of course.

@racer4four, @PhilDMorris, @betweenthelens, and @Ms.CrystalShip - Thanks you for all the wonderful comments. It sure is in super shape, and I do not think it has ever been washed yet. I kinda wondered if a HBB, but still like it. Very good quality copy then if it is!! Yes very soft. I will also check out that other name of St Marys's blanket that you listed. Never heard of them, but will check them out. Thanks everyone for the comments again!! Sorry to hear about that lose of your blanket too.....Yes, when we are teenagers we do not think down the road!!

...@CanyonRoad - thank you so much for your info. You have so much knowledge it amazes me all the time. Thank you for generosity sharing your info with me. I appreciate that so much.
