I picked this up from an electrical utility company. It looks to me like a Seth Thomas regulator #20. I can't find any information about the electrical system in it though. The electrical mechanism doesn't seem to be a direct drive, but maybe an alternating magnetic field that keeps the pendulum moving in place of the weight???
Go to NAWCC.org and post your questions in the section"Electric Horology". You will find all you seek there. Provide good quality photos Too. The more the better.
Thank you. I posted it there also. Keeping my fingers crossed.
This is the first response from NAWCC.org.
"DO NOT PLUG IT IN.
If you do the movement will become worthless.
It is a Master clock L-1 circa 1920's.
Should run on three volts DC.
They can be a bit of a pain to get set up and running as the contacts are usually in poor condition."
Changed one of the original pics to a page of Tran Duy Ly's book shared with me by another user.
