    Another piece I found yesterday at an antique store. Really interesting and high quality workmanship. Any info would be great, it is not signed. It cannot be a teapot?? Perhaps just decorative.

      Oh wow it's very cool. That marking on the bottom is the makers mark but I don't know who it would be. I def say Asian but I'd have to stick with racer above and her comment. She knows her stuff!

      Que bonita! Que buen hallazgo! , No es una tetera, es una olla invertida, es para tomar vino, por eso algunos la llaman " la copa de Pitágoras* , se llena por debajo, por el orificio con forma de flor, eso es un conducto por donde pasa el líquido hacia dentro , luego al girarse a su posición normal, el vino no se escapará, y al servirlo, saldrá por la boca del animal representado. Aunque es tan linda, y si tono verde claro tan especial, que habrá algún lugar donde decore de forma hermosa. ;-)
