    Hello everyone!!
I just got this Italian made bronze hare sculpture this week. It was made specially for the GUMP'S department store. I have another one identical to this, but that one has a vertigris finish. This is such a highly detailed sculpture. I really love his pose. Though not solid bronze, it's still has some heft to it . It weighs 8 lbs and stands 13" tall.

Gump's department store is a very high end home furnishings store. It was founded in 1861 and still operates today in San Francisco Bay Area.

Hope you love him as much as I do and thanks for stopping to have a look and a Happy Easter to you all!!!

    Scott

Solid bronze would probably have to be sand cast. They get much better detail with wax moulds, so the piece is hollow, as all the great bronzes are. Beautiful !~

Potrebbe trattarsi di un'opera di Sirio Tofanari?
