I liked this vase for it's colour gradation from deep coral to frosted clear? glass at the base. If 'frosted clear glass' isn't the correct term please tell me.
Once again I don't know the origins of this one.
Height 16 cm/6.25 inches
martel'e surface of frozen watery ways
as the winter sun blushes soft heart for the way to silver lining
fab peggy !!!!!!!!
Frosted clear sounds perfectly apt! A lovely vase, so elegant.
Thank you, Malkey. I think you are changing the way I look at my glass, but in a good way!
I appreciate the help and the compliment, IronLace, thank you. I always know what I like but not always what it exactly is!
It's a lovely finish Peggy, and Malkey ' poetic descriptions change my views too.
Did they acid or sand blast to get a matte finish do you know?
I'm not sure about how the matt finish was achieved, Karen, but I think it's not smooth enough to be a satin finish. Your fingers just don't slide over it!
This is a really interesting one, Peggy. I have never seen one like it! The shape and texture are very interesting - I really like it!
Lovely.
