Here's a grouping of some of my favorite little vases. They each have rubin grounds cased in clear glass and iridised. I love holding them up to the light to see the beautiful, rich red color. They all also have clear bases. The smallest is 2.13" tall and the tallest is 4.75". I haven't found all the patterns and most notations in the reference books point towards them being from around the early to mid 1890's.

The funny thing about those clear bases, is that you can only see them when they are held at the right angle. Normally the whole vase looks iridescent "purple".

These patterns came from Ricke's "Lotz, Bohmisches Glas 1880-1940, Band 2"

I have the same one as the small one in the second photo. I always thought it was Harrach, glad to know it's in fact Loetz!!
