Curious if anyone has seen anything like this before??
It's really very different & quite the conversation piece. Perhaps part of a Grand Marnier promotion, I love the flavor of that liqueur. Empty bottle could have other uses, i.e., on a long road trip......(lol)
Ha! It so happens that do a ton of driving for my job... great for finding new antique hunting grounds, but quite problematic in other ways...
From what appears to be a crack, I would suggest it was unevenly heated by a fire or torch. One can slowly deform a bottle in a camp-fire. Usually, in a bottle that deformed in a mould, it merely sinks/sags inward. I will post an example later.
Hi...google BBR elsecar auctions...they specialise in bottle auctions...if they don't know no one will I reckon!
