I have another bottle display up in the basement. These are all 'Vernors' soda bottles. Vernors is a Detroit co. started by James Vernor a Detroit pharmacist back in 1866. Now there is dispute on that date, some claim 1896, but none the less "Vernors' is the oldest surviving Ginger Ale still being sold. It is still a famous Detroit beverage and company.
