      I'm thinking its probably food/beverage related and not medicinal/remedy? From an Italian company in New York. (Quite the Sherlock Holmesian deductive reasoning, I know.)

      The shape looks like a chemical bottle. Google Books has references in the early 1900s to an international Sanatogen, not Sanitogen, Co. that made chemicals and bulk drugs.
