A lovely fellow!
Marked "Geschützt" (German for registered).
Beginning of 20th century.
Measurements:
Length: 4 7/8" (from the head to the tail)
Width: 3 3/4"
Height: 1 1/4" (from the bottom of the feet to the head)
The pen wipe brush was lacking...
I ordered vacuum cleaner round brush accessory to get long horse hair to rebuilt the pen wipe into turtle's back shape!
For now, I put a foam pad covered in felt to complete the little critter as a pin cushion :-)
Honest Pascale, the first photo looks like a REAL turtle! Very lifelike design, amazing turtle sculpture
