      Nice pie safe. It looks like walnut, and most likely square nails were used in the construction. I don't see any evidence of pegs being used. Very nice hand punched tins. Twelve tin safes are harder to find. Open your drawer and see if it is hand dovetailed or machine dovetailed. My guess is that it is hand dovetailed. It probably dates to the 1870's. I hope this helps.

      Yes, square nails were used, and the drawers are hand doved. I'll take pics of those and put them on later today.
