Hercules and the Stymphalian birds, Jean Du Roncourt sculpture on French Art Deco Mantle Clock, 1933

This gigantic clock tells the story of Hercules' battle with the Stymphalian birds. The sculpture is by Jean Du Roncourt mounted on a French Art Deco clock. The clock is 19" in length, 27" in, height, and 6" in depth.

When I received it the bottom of the bow was broken and lost with just about an inch left. I took the bow apart and made a cast of the top of the bow. When I went to recast it, I reincorporated the pieces that was left into the new bottom, the result is the first picture. The two below it are before the recast of the bow. I think it came out great. The bow was originally Ivory, the top still is and part of the bottom.
